Na nową wersję domowego "studia malarskiego" corela przyszło użytkownikom czekać niemal równo 2 lata. Aplikacja ta, oparta na Painterze, ale nieco ograniczona w funkcjonalności, w czwartym wydaniu oferuje uproszczony i uporządkowany interfejs, nowe rodzaje pędzli oraz zgodność z najnowszymi tabletami piórkowymi Wacom.

Firma Kodak zaprezentowała nowy kiosk fotograficzny klasy entry-level. Jest to samoobsługowe urządzenie przeznaczone dla właścicieli małych punktów sprzedaży detalicznej.

Oferta firmy BenQ wzbogaciła się o nowy 7-megapikselowy aparat cyfrowy o oznaczeniu X735. Urządzenie to następca wyróżniającego się niewielką grubością modelu X725.

W ofercie firmy Pentax pojawiły się dwa nowe cyfrowe aparaty fotograficzne - modele Optio V10 i A40. Pierwszy wyposażono w 3-calowy wyświetlacz i aluminiową obudowę, natomiast drugi może się pochwalić trzema systemami stabilizacji obrazu, certyfikatem DivX oraz 12-megapikselową matrycą. Wraz z nimi producent zaprezentował nowy obiektyw dla lustrzanek cyfrowych.

10 października (środa) w Warszawie odbędzie się pokaz produktów firm Avid, Digidesign, Softimage, Pinnacle i M-Audio. Goście spotkania będą mogli zapoznać się m.in. z technologiami stosowanymi w postprodukcji wideo i realizacji transmisji telewizyjnych.

Często zdarzało się tak, że celem przeliczenia danej sceny zostawiało się na noc włączony komputer, a nad ranem odkrywało się jedynie komunikat "out of memory". Nie ukrywam, że nieco mnie to zniechęciło do dalszej eksploracji tego fascynującego tematu i zgodnie z hiszpańskim powiedzeniem "maniana", studiowanie go odłożyłem do nieokreślonej przyszłości.
